High Commission of the United Republic of Tanzania

Tanzania–South Africa relations

The Tanzania High Commission in Pretoria plays an important role in maintaining and strengthening diplomatic relations between Tanzania and South Africa. Its responsibilities include promoting political cooperation, protecting Tanzania’s interests and assisting Tanzanian citizens within its area of accreditation.

The two countries also maintain longstanding bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, regional integration and political relations. South Africa maintains its own High Commission in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
