What can I do if my Tanzania e-Visa is denied?
If your Tanzania eVisa is denied, you should apply for a new visa to visit Tanzania. There are some reasons why your visa application is rejected:
- You provide inaccurate information. If there is unmatched information between the application form and the passport, your application will be rejected
- Your passport expired. To be eligible for an eVisa, all applicants should be in possession of a passport that has a minimum validity of 06 months from the intended arrival date in Tanzania. In addition, this passport should have no less than one unused visa page before visa application submission. Therefore, it is important for applicants to check their passport’s validity before submitting the application.
The most convenient way to apply for a Tanzania eVisa is to visit the Tanzania Immigration Services website and follow the instructions. The entire process is online, allowing applicants to complete the application procedure from the comfort of their homes. The granted eVisa will be sent to the applicant’s email address, on which the visa start date and visa end date are specified. Before the visa application is approved, the applicants are not expected to arrive in the United Republic of Tanzania. The holders are then required to follow the regulations; they will be fined if they overstay a visa.
