How to travel from Australia to Tanzania and Zanzibar?
Travelers from Australia who have been authorized for a Tanzanian eVisa will get the visa grant notification and confirmation letter through email.
To obtain admission into Tanzania and Zanzibar, they will be needed to submit a printed copy of these papers to Tanzanian border control upon arrival.
Before purchasing their tickets, Australian travelers should be aware that they may only enter Tanzania and Zanzibar using an eVisa at the following international ports of entry:
- Julius Nyerere International Airport
- Kilimanjaro International Airport
- Mwanza International Airport
and checkpoints in Namanga, Sirari, Holili, Horohoro, Kasumulu, Rusumo, Mtukula, Tunduma.
