How long does it take to get a visa for Tanzania as a Nigeria?
An approved Tanzania eVisa for Nigerians is emailed to the traveler's current email address given when completing the online form.
Tanzania eVisas are normally issued within 3 business days and are frequently issued much sooner. Passengers should apply at least one (1) week before their journey to Tanzania.
An application notification letter and a visa grant notice will be emailed to the tourist.
To achieve expedited admission into Tanzania or Zanzibar, both of these documents must be printed and shown to immigration officials upon arrival in Tanzania or Zanzibar, together with the traveler's Nigerian passport.
A valid Tanzania eVisa issued by Nigeria can be used to enter the country at any of the following border crossings:
- Julius Nyerere International Airport - DAR - Dar es Salaam
- Kilimanjaro International Airport - JRO - Kilimanjaro
- Mwanza International Airport - MWZ - Mwanza
and checkpoints in Namanga, Sirari, Holili, Horohoro, Kasumulu, Rusumo, Mtukula, Tundum.
