How to get to Jambiani Beach?
To get to Jambiani Beach, first go to the Zanzibar Islands, which are located off the coast of Tanzania. The most direct route to Zanzibar is to fly into Zanzibar International Airport in Kisauni (ZNZ).
To get to Jambiani Beach from the airport, simply rent a cab or use a shared shuttle, if available. The travel takes around an hour, depending on traffic. Another alternative is to organize a private transfer through your hotel or a tour operator like us. If you are visiting for a holiday, arranging a private transfer in advance is preferable, which costs between $40 and $50.
If you are going from mainland Tanzania, you may take a boat from Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar, which takes around 2 hours. Then you may simply find a cab driver at the Zanzibar ferry station.
Some visitors choose Daladala since it is a low-cost alternative, but be prepared for a rough journey, especially if you are prone to motion sickness. It is advised that you use a more comfortable method of transportation, such as a cab or private transfer, to make your travel more pleasurable.
